Look, I know from my commenters that nothing is ever racist (except affirmative action, which is Jim Crow resurrected and magnified to the 10th power). But this article, predicting that Barack Obama will be our "first hip-hop president" and wondering if he'll start calling cabinet members his "bitches", is racist.

How bizarre. Here's something Obama has said about his reserved appreciation for hip-hop:

Oh, David, why do you insist on reading a racial meaning into these things. "Hip-hop president" clearly refers to his... uh, youth, and um, urban political background.
I don't know how you could associate hip-hop with black people in this, our colorblind 21st century. It's as despicable an act of stereotyping as I've ever seen.
Of course, you are posting from World Net Daily where they spent 1999 selling people dehydrated food and survival kits for the coming Y2K disaster.
If you consider such stereotyping racist, then where is your criticism of MTV and the numerous Sean Combs reality shows where he cannot get two sentences out without being racist or sexist?
However, since Senator Obama refuses to have a Sister Souljah moment and refuses to disavow the racist nature of many policy proposals from the Congressional Black Caucus, it leaves an opening for the stupid, wacky right.
Can you explain more about the insidious racism of the CBC? I'm interested, and already anticipating that your incisive critique may be of use in uncovering the sexist machinations of the League of Women Voters.
